Having spent over 25+ years between Paris and London, Zoltan Alexander, founder of ZOLTAN+MEDIA creative studio, returned to London in 2016 and eventually moved to Paris in 2024.

​

He is an independent, Art & Cultural Editor, Art Director and Creative Director. He demonstrates a true, proactive, result-driven, innovative, and passionate attitude, delivering a unique solution in design, branding, publishing and contemporary art, supplying fully integrated creative services, including creative direction, art direction, and critical journalism.

CLIENTS

As Creative Director, Zoltan Alexander collaborates with international publications and clients to set the general theme and core style of their projects, creating stunning layouts, editorial content and visual presentations for his clients.

 

He has extensively worked with Condé Nast, British Vogue, Vogue France, Libération (France), Citizen K International (France), Donna (Italy), Interview (USA), Hearst Corporation - Harper’s Bazaar (USA), Ubikwist (USA), Edge and Ryuko Tsushin (Japan).

In the fashion & luxury industry, he collaborated with LVMH, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Cartier, Comité Montaigne, Issey Miyake (Japan), Assouline Publishing (USA) and Christian de Portzamparc (France).

JOURNALISM

As an independent Journalist and Art Critic, Zoltan Alexander publishes articles and conducts interviews for THE INSTIGATOR magazine and other publications.

He scours the world for the very best in contemporary art and photography, and regularly meets with established and emerging artists, photographers, actors and designers to feature their work, cover exhibitions and international art fairs.

He frequently reports on Frieze London, Frieze Masters, PhotoLondon, PAD Paris, PAD London, ParisPhoto, Paris Design Week, Matter & Shape, 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair London and Marrakesh, Venice Biennale, White Cube, TATE Modern, Thaddaeus Ropac, FLV Louis Vuitton Foundation, Fondation Cartier, and Bourse de Commerce-Pinault Collection.

 

​In 2023, Zoltan Alexander launched his magazine THE INSTIGATOR.

BRANDING + ADVERTISING

Zoltan Alexander has a demonstrated history of working in Branding, Advertising, and New Media Web Design. He has a strong ability to produce creative, visual content from concept to completion. He is a conceptual and critical thinker, and his expertise is often sought out to establish new, ground-breaking projects for fashion and luxury brands, architectural firms, design companies, advertising agencies, and launch new publications.

His latest project, as Creative Director, was a digital campaign for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group with London Advertising, producing online films starring Lucy Liu, Isabelle Huppert, Morgan Freeman, and a brand presentation for French Architectural firm the Institut Elizabeth & Christian de Portzamparc.

VIDEO + AI 

Zoltan Alexander produces online films, promo videos and art-related portraits, documentaries for web and social media content and digital installations for his clients with large-scale LED interior-exterior projections. AI plays a new role in his creative work.

ART DEALS + ART REPRESENTATIONS

As an Independent Curator, he collaborated with SFMOMA in San Francisco on their "75th Anniversary" exhibition, and had his digital gallery THE MONOLITH ART SPACE.

​

As a Contributing Artist, he collaborated with Cartier on several occasions, for the “Jeanne Toussains / Panthère” exhibition, and “Cartier-Panthère” published by Assouline Publishing (USA). With  Assouline he worked intensively on their book “Marrakesh” with Marisa Berenson.

​

As an Art Dealer, following his recent collaboration and art sales of renowned British artist Anish Kapoor with Lisson Gallery, he is continuing to develop further art deals with artists and photographers.

 

Under the wings of ZOLTAN+MEDIA, he currently represents a handful of established and emerging artists and photographers in Paris.
