THE INSTIGATOR Nº1
PRINT EDITION
We will create three different covers for every Printed issue.
Throughout the magazine, our team and contributing writers will take you on a journey in great depth to discover contemporary art, design & architecture, fashion, music, dance, cinema & theatre, literature, and other major cultural subjects throughout our 12 columns.
In the first Printed Edition, on 450 pages, we dedicated our stories in contemporary art to exhibitions and art fairs, including PARIS PHOTO, PHOTO LONDON, FRIEZE LONDON, ART BASEL PARIS, ART PARIS, FESTIVAL d'ARLES, Bourse de Commerce (Paris), Fondation Cartier (Paris), Fondation Louis Vuitton (Paris), Reiffers Initiatives (Paris), Wolfgang Tillmans at Centre Pompidou (Paris) before closing, Youssef Nabil at Musée d'Orsay (Paris), 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair (Marrakesh), and most importantly some young, emerging artists and photographers, including Ismail Zaidy (Marrakesh), and Dhewadi Hadjab (Paris).
We also visited Anish Kapoor's studio before the Venice Biennale, Lucian Freud’s exhibition at the National Gallery (London), and Marina Abramović at the Royal Academy of Arts (London).
In cinema, we interviewed the much-acclaimed Brazilian actor Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, in music, countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński in Geneva, and Marina Abramović at the English National Opera (London). For the Design column, we covered PAD Paris, PAD London, and Matter & Shape (Paris), visited some great restaurants for the Gastronomy column, some breathtaking castles in France and Italy for the Heritage column, assisted the Rite of Spring of Pina Bausch at Sadler's Wells (London) and a few months later at the Theâtre des Champs Elysées (Paris), met with Daniel Buren at his book signings, and covered some major current affairs for our Critical Thoughts column.
Have a good read.
